Covid-19 Updates

We want to share important updates regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and want to assure you, that at Dose, we’re taking steps for the safety of our employees and customers. This is our number one priority while maintaining operations and continuing to provide services during this challenging time. We understand this is a constantly developing situation and we are monitoring to make changes as necessary. We will continue to follow all state and federal government recommendations regarding our industry.

We Are Still Open And Performing Moves

Governor Ducey’s Executive Order 2020-12, defined “moving and storage” companies to be “essential ” to the community. Accordingly, Dose Moving and Storage remains open for business. We recognize, however, that these are extraordinary times and that things are not “business as usual.”

Here are the steps we are taking as a company to help minimize the spread and help ensure yours and our safety

  • All employees have been instructed to remain home if they feel under the weather for any reason and will follow the CDC guidelines to “self-quarantine”.
  • For over two weeks, all trucks have been equipped with disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer, and paper towels for use by our teams while providing services. Our trucks, gear, and tools are being wiped down before, during, and after each move.

  • For over two weeks, the office is being sanitized every 60 minutes. This includes phones, doorknobs, and any hard surface.
  • Certain personnel that can work from home are currently doing that to limit exposure to our facilities.

  • We have staggered the arrival times at our warehouses to minimize the number of crew members that are present at one time.
  • Soap, disinfectant wipes, and sanitizer is prevalent throughout our facilities for thorough cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Gloves, masks, and safety glasses are being made available to our team for use during moves. Because of the heat, the strenuous nature of this work, and breathing restrictions, some of our workers may not be able to use masks at all times or for entire moves.

  • We have asked our team to keep a safe distance from each other and clients when possible along with refraining from greeting our clients with a handshake as we normally do.

Here is what we expect from our customers – please read carefully

If you have someone in your home who is sick or knowingly exposed to Coronavirus (COVID-19), please contact our office immediately to make proper arrangements for your move. This could consist of ensuring that the individual is not in the home before or during the move along with the home being disinfected before the move. Or, we can reschedule moving services for you to a future date.

Please provide the use of a restroom with a sink, along with soap, paper towels, and sanitizer if possible, for your family and our moving team to be able to wash our hands thoroughly during your move.

Customers must always maintain safe distances from our team of 3-6 feet. It is also acceptable for the customer to leave the premises after the walkthrough to let our team operate in a safer environment. Our team will be able to communicate with you by phone and/or face time during the move as needed.

Please be patient with our team as they do their best to move items safely for you. This will include regular hand washing, disinfecting with wipes when needed, and providing additional wrapping and preparation of furniture.
